Our Butchery Courses are a great gift idea. Each course caters for a maximum of 8 people with plenty of hands on exercises and skills as demonstrated by our Master Butchers. The price of the course includes a butchers knife, apron and free range chicken to take home.

Butchery Courses 2017

The content of the course is to butcher a lamb which is done by the tutor and then the students get a chance to prepare the legs or the shoulders. Subsequent exercises involve boning beef short ribs, boning a pork shoulder, cutting a chicken into joints and then produce some leg joints and breast fillets. Finally we’ll cut and prepare a side of pork.

The duration of the course is approximately 2 – 3 hours and we aim to give everyone the opportunity to ask questions and to see certain different cuts and their location on a carcass.

All safety gloves and aprons will be provided.
